Non-oxidizing biocide


Product Overview:

Non-oxidizing biocides and algaecides kill microorganisms through a toxic effect on specific parts of the microorganisms, rather than through oxidation. Therefore, they are not affected by reducing substances in the water. Non-oxidizing biocides and algaecides are typically non-oxidizing compounds such as chlorophenols and quaternary ammonium compounds. These agents have a certain level of persistence in their biocidal action and can penetrate and detach biofilms and sediments. They are less affected by hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, and pH levels in the water. However, the treatment costs are relatively high compared to oxidizing biocides, and they can easily cause environmental pollution. Microorganisms in the water may also develop resistance to these agents.

Packaging: Available in 25kg or 50kg drums, or 1-ton containers (custom packaging options available). Storage: Keep away from moisture and store in a well-ventilated, cool, and dry place.
