Product Applications

1. Primarily used as a flocculant: For suspended particles that are relatively coarse, have a high concentration, and carry a positive charge, and for wastewater with a neutral or alkaline pH, the anionic polyacrylamide molecule chain contains a certain amount of polar functional groups that adsorb the suspended solid particles in the water, causing the particles to bridge and form larger flocs. This accelerates the settling of particles in the suspension, significantly improving the clarification of the solution and promoting filtration. This product is widely used in the treatment of chemical industrial wastewater and waste liquids, as well as in municipal wastewater treatment, tap water production, the purification of high-turbidity water, sedimentation, coal washing, mineral processing, metallurgy, the steel industry, zinc and aluminum processing, and water treatment in the electronics industry.
2. Widely used in the petroleum industry for oil extraction, drilling mud, waste mud treatment, preventing water channeling, reducing friction, improving oil recovery rates, and tertiary oil recovery.
3. Ideal for textile sizing agents, providing stable sizing performance, minimal shedding, low fabric breakage rates, and a smooth fabric surface.
4. In the paper industry, PAM is used for two main purposes: first, to improve the retention rate of fillers and pigments, thereby reducing the loss of raw materials and minimizing environmental pollution; second, to enhance the strength of paper (including both dry and wet strength). Additionally, PAM can improve the tear resistance and porosity of paper, leading to better visual and printing qualities. It is also used in food and tea packaging paper.
